Namaste! I originally hail from Guwahati, a small city nestled among the pristine hills in north-eastern India. I completed my undergrad in Design from IIT Guwahati. It was a unique program as it was part of one of the most reputed technical institutes in India and hence I got a chance to pursue an interesting mix of design and technical courses.

After my undergrad, I worked at Cisco Systems Bangalore for a year in the SSO Business Unit (now Customer Experience) after which I came to the United States to pursue my Masters in Human-Computer Interaction from Carnegie Mellon University. My interests and specializations span across a wide variety of topics such as Machine Learning, Tangible Interfaces and Conversational UI.

I consider myself a design generalist, with a passion for creating novel experiences at the intersection of art and technology. My love for movies and books in the genre of fantasy and fiction has always influenced me with my story-telling and creative thinking abilities.

In my spare time, you will find me creating illustrations on Procreate, hiking, playing the guitar, discovering music on YouTube, playing football, or watching my favorite team Liverpool FC in action!
